Gett exec Smorgonsky launches Russian version of Google Play
MOSCOW, Apr 18 (PRIME) -- Businessman and taxi hailing service Gett top manager Anatoly Smorgonsky has launched RuMarket, a store of applications for Android devices, RuMarket said late on April 15 in a statement.
Many users of smartphones and tablets have found themselves unable to download some applications or update them. According to RuMarket, over 70% are Android users, and the Russian market is not an exception, the company said.
The store said that it already offers applications of large Russian banks and other necessary services.
RuMarket founder and CEO Smorgonsky said that RuMarket is an alternative store of applications available not only to the Russian users.
The first version will be free both for the users and developers. Reboots will contain monetization and differentiation of applications by user rating and security. All the applications will be moderated and checked for virus.
